It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Ziphost. Ziphost is keen to make life easier if you're not an expert. It's no secret that the Internet can be a confusing place, and it can be hard to know where to start or who to trust.

Ziphost want to correct this situation by making Web Hosting more accessible to non-experts - by freely providing educational material on our website we hope to educate customers, empowering them to make an informed choice about how and where to host their website (hopefully with us!).

Ziphost is about providing the best web hosting money can buy without moving to your own VPS or dedicated server. Ziphost are not about stacking it high and selling it cheap. There's more than enough of that out there, and we believe our customers are looking for a more personal approach. That's why we pro-actively look after our customers, and hold their hands through any technical challenges.

Why no reseller accounts?

It is a fact of economics that you can't provide high performance hosting for nothing. Allowing our server space to be resold (and usually oversold) in bulk by others inevitably leads to degraded performance. It also makes things far less friendly where AUP breaches occur. In short, we believe reseller accounts are incompatible with providing the level of service and performance that our customers demand.

Our Ethics

Ziphost want to ensure that customers are treated fairly, with honesty and openness. That is why we openly provide our uptime and monitoring statistics (provided by independant sources), so you know exactly how serious we are about that openness. Things do go wrong from time to time - the difference is in how you deal with it. Of course, it's not possible to have a qualified human being available 24/7 for the prices that we are selling our hosting for - BUT, on the ocassion that you do need to speak to someone directly, we will do our utmost to help.
