Basic Settings for your Ziphost account

Domain nameserver settings

In order to tie your hosting account to your domain name, you will need to set the nameservers for your domain as follows:

• ns1.ziphost.co.uk
• ns2.ziphost.co.uk

Standard mail server details

• SMTP (Outgoing) : mail.yourdomain.co.uk
• SMTP server ports : 25 or 525 (Some ISP's block 25, so use 525 instead)

• POP3 (Incoming) servers : mail.yourdomain.co.uk
• POP3 server port : 110

POP3 Username & password : use your email address and the password that was previously set up in the control panel.

Important: Set your mail to send/receive LESS OFTEN than once every minute. Continually connecting more than once a minute is unecessary, and may result in our systems automatically blocking access for an hour.

Secure (SSL) mail server SMTP and POP3

• SMTP (Outgoing) : alpha.ziphost.co.uk
• SMTP server ports : 465 or 587

• POP3 (Incoming) servers : alpha.ziphost.co.uk
• POP3 server port : 995

POP3 Username & password : use your email address and the password that was previously set up in the control panel.

FTP server address

ftp.yourdomain.co.uk

Default username and password are the same as your main hosting account.

Logging in to Webmail

Go to http://yourdomain.co.uk/webmail

To access any mailbox, just enter the email address as the username, and the password that was configured when you created the mailbox.

Logging in to your main Cpanel account

Go to http://yourdomain.co.uk/cpanel
