Domain name management

A domain name is nothing more than a pointer to your web and email servers and a way of formalising your legal ownership of a name. When you can buy these for less than £3 a year from the big names, it seems silly to try and compete, so we don't directly sell domain names.

We can manage your domain for you

We do however, buy domains and manage them on your behalf, for a nominal management fee. We use a popular UK registrar, and your domain names are registered in your name NOT ours! We do not charge for transferring domains away.

Just to be clear, we are NOT a registrar, and do not operate our own IPS tag. Managing thousands of domains means using an automated billing, management and most importantly support system, and that is something we didn't set out to do. 

It's more secure to keep domain names and hosting apart

The best practice in I.T. is not to put all of your eggs in one basket! Things can always go wrong. This might not sound like great marketing speak, but anyone in the I.T. industry knows it is a sad fact of life. If you register your domain name yourself, and purchase it from a different company to your hosting provider (us), then you are inherently in a better position should a disaster occur.
