Offsite Backups

Our servers backup every user account every night, locally onto redundant storage at the datacentre. This means that we can restore your entire account within seconds - you just need to log a support call.

You might feel that's enough. After all, the physical security is incredibly strong at our Datacentre, and the servers we run have built in Raid 1 internal storage and Raid 5 external storage. However, imagine if you accidentally deleted something, or worse, a hacker managed to alter something on your site, and you didn't realise until a day or two later?

In this situation, unless you have been diligent enough to backup your own account manually (as shown in our knowledgebase) then your data won't be recoverable.

An extra 7 days of insurance!

Our offsite backup service (starting at just £20 per year) takes a copy of your daily backup data, and transfers it to another secure datacentre hundreds of miles away. This is done every night, and separate backups are kept for every day of the week, so we always have the most recent 7 days worth of backups available. We also retain weekly backups for 2 weeks. In an emergency just put in a support call in order to restore your account.
